Glossary

Like many things in modern life, even the definitions of words have been changed. In some instances, definitions have become almost Orwellian in meaning where words represent nearly the exact opposite from what they did in earlier times.

AIRCHECK - A recording made off of a transmitted broadcast radio signal. They are historical snapshots in time. They are categorized as

unscoped aircheck. Nothing cut.
scoped aircheck. Music or talk is edited.
mostly unscoped but some music or talk is scoped.

CONSERVATIVE, a. Preservative; having power to preserve in a safe or entire state, or from loss, waste or injury. [Source: Webster's 1828 Dictionary]

LIBERAL, Of a free heart; free to give or bestow; not close or contracted; munificent; bountiful; generous; giving largely; as a liberal donor; the liberal founders of a college or hospital. It expresses less than profuse or extravagant. [Source: Webster's 1828 Dictionary] Liberal also happens to be the name of the old community we are located in.
